Gainsborough Flooring Attend The Royal Lancashire Show 2019

Despite the monsoon rain combined with high winds consistently dismantling our display and our stand area getting flooded, we survived and turned the Royal Lancashire Show into a success!

Our stand was much larger than the previous year, and by far the largest stand at the show, with more rugs and features on display and with a double stand area we filled the place with some stunning flooring.

The team utilised astro turf to cover the inside floor and outside apron area right up to the walkway and then ran a full red carpet from the walkway right into the stand. 

The collaboration we had with the Anderton Centre went really well and we referred visitors to each other and helped out where required.

Our competition for a rug worth £250 was won by Liz Gartside from Chorley’s Angels First Aid.

Though the weather wasn’t kind to us or the other exhibitors, and we didn’t even have the opportunity to win the best stand competition again as it unfortunately had to be cancelled, we’re certainly committed to exhibiting at the show again next year!
