Meticulous installation skills

We’re renowned for our customer care and attention to detail and this was certainly put to the test with a recent client installation.

The areas we were providing flooring for led to outside spaces and therefore needed to be robust as well as easy to clean and maintain for our enthusiastic gardening client and his muddy boots!

Choosing something that would fulfil this criteria whilst looking spectacular resulted in our client selecting Karndean Mayfair for his porch and Amtico Form Carved Oak in Basket Weave for his conservatory.

Our customer loved the Victorian style Karndean Mayfair which he chose for his porch.

With a harmonious colour combination of Dove Grey, Terracotta, Lace, Azure and Nero, Mayfair is an iconic pattern formed of square and triangular tiles. Traditionally found in the entrance halls of Victorian homes, this design oozes personality with a warm rich look full of character.

The warm, practical and range of timeless designs of Amtico Form made it the ideal choice for the conservatory. The defined wood grain and gentle tonal variations work perfectly in Parque and the balanced geometry of Basket Weave is a fine example of Amtico’s precision cutting capabilities. When cut into directional woven pieces, the natural variations in colour and texture create an artisan, reclaimed feel which is versatile enough for both modern and traditional spaces.

Both of these spaces required meticulous installation skills, especially the Karndean Mayfair due to each small piece being individually fitted and there being lots of them in the design. It was like creating a very complicated jigsaw!
